Representatives of the provincial Association of the Elderly and HelpAge International in Vietnam (HAI) visit and present gifts to a home health care model of the intergenerational self-help club in Tong village, Tong Dau commune (Mai Chau district).

As usual, every day, volunteers of the ISC in Tong village, Tong Dau commune in Mai Chau district, give health care for and help the elderly who are policy beneficiaries, and sick people. The work shows responsibility and spreads the positive values of the club's activities in the community.

Every year, the staff of the clubs and the Association of the Elderly at the grassroots level and related sectors have participated in training sessions of HAI organisation on management and operation. They have been equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to advise and answer questions from members. Attention has been paid to mobilising and building a fund for caring and promoting the role of the elderly.
