The Hoa Binh provincial Military Command in collaboration with the National Defence Academy held a seminar on January 15, where they exchanged experience in local defence and military affairs with a delegation of officers, instructors, and students from the senior command and staff training course of the Royal Cambodian Army.
The leaders of the Military Command briefed the Cambodian side on the province’s performance of defence and military tasks in recent years.
They shared practical experiences in implementing local defence and military missions, emphasising the importance of building strong all-people defence linked with people-based security posture.
The senior officers of the Royal Cambodian Army touched upon provincial Military Command’s role in advising provincial People's Committee on managing defence affairs, the integration of socio-economic development with national security, and vice versa, and the management and training of local troops. They also looked into policies related to post-service employment for soldiers.
Hoa Binh's officers learned about the structure and operations of the Royal Cambodian Army, while speaking of military recruitment processes, and policies towards soldiers who complete their military service.
The seminar fostered mutual trust and understanding, promoting closer cooperation and experience exchange.
According to the Party Charter, Party members who have been active in the revolution for a long time, and have maintained their Party membership for 30 years and more, will be awarded the Party badge. This is a noble reward, not only a source of pride and excitement for the Party members themselves and their families, but also a source of pride for the Party organisation that has such outstanding members who are shining examples for everyone to learn from and follow.
On the occasion of the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930–2025), the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board offered flowers and incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh at the relic site of the late leader’s visit to the Chi Hoa production group in Luong Son district on February 3. The delegation included Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, and leaders of the Party Committee of Luong Son district.
Ahead of the Year of the Snake, a delegation of reporters from central and local press agencies, together with representatives of Brigade 146 from Naval Region 4, boarded Vessel HQ-561 to pay a Lunar New Year (Tet) visit to Truong Sa archipelago.

A delegation of Laos’ Houaphanh province led by Khampheng Saysompheng, a member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Governor of Houaphanh, has paid a visit to Hoa Binh province to extend their Tet (Lunar New Year) greetings to the local Party organisation, administration and people.
The Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee held a ceremony on January 15 to announce the Prime Minister’s decision on personnel affairs and handover of duties of the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee. The event was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee.
