(HBO) - On March 22, the Tourism Association of Cao Phong District held the District’s firrst-term Tourism Congress in the period of 2023-2028.


The leaders from the People's Committee of Cao Phong District were giving flowers to congratulate the Executive Board of Cao Phong District’s first-term Tourism Association in the period of 2023-2028.

Cao Phong District’s Tourism Association is a socio-professional organization of the individuals and organizations operating and promoting tourism products in Cao Phong district, they have voluntarily established it for the purpose of gathering and uniting the association’s members, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the members, supporting the effective operations, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

The Congress has approved the direction and operation charter of the Association for the period of 2023-2028. Accordingly, the Association creates an environment to exchange, provide knowledge, information and experience in developing tourism potential. The units and members of the Association unite, make and develop the tourism in Cao Phong district to become a friendly, safe and attractive destination with many unique and high-quality new products. The linkages of the community tourism models should be promoted and the cultural identities should be preserved. The cooperation with the business should be deployed in the common tourism services to reduce costs. It is necessary to maximize the advantages to develop tourism into a spearhead economic sector, building an attractive destination with the typical tourism products, and being a major tourism center of the Northwest region. It is also important to strengthen communication to promote the image of the district; mobilizing the investment resources to build tourism infrastructure and tourism technical facilities...

Immediately after the establishment of the association, the participating members have announced their unit's products, the selling prices, and the discount rates; establishing Cao Phong Tourism Association's Web site, transferring the products of the association to the web for the introduction; building a new tour route from 1 day to 2, 3 days in Cao Phong...

The Congress has elected the Executive Committee for the period of 2023 - 2028 including 5 people, in which, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, the Deputy Director of the Vietnamse Heritage Park (Bac Phong Commune) has been elected as the Chairman of the Tourism Association of Cao Phong district and Mr. Tran Van Son from Bong Lai temple (Cao Phong town) has been elected as the Vice Chairman of District’s Tourism Association.
