A delegation from Hoa Binh province, including standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council Bui Duc Hinh, standing Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Cam Phuong, and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Cong Su, attended a ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam – Mongolia diplomatic ties hosted by the Mongolian Embassy in Hanoi on November 22.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of
Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan, Mongolian Minister of Food,
Agriculture and Light Industry Jadamba Enkhbayar, Mongolian Ambassador to
Vietnam Jigjee Sereejav, representatives from the Party Central Committee’s
Commission for External Relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the
National Assembly's Ethnic Council, and the Vietnam-Mongolia Friendship
Association.
Speaking at the event, Minister Hoan stressed
that over the past seven decades, the Vietnam- Mongolia friendship, solidarity,
and cooperation have been growing into a fine example of the enduring
friendship that has weathered the challenges of time and geographical distance.
He recalled several achievements in bilateral
cooperation in recent years, saying that the two nations established a
political consultation mechanism at the deputy foreign ministerial level, with
10 meetings held since 2002. Additionally, the Vietnam-Mongolia
Inter-Governmental Committee has held 18 meetings since 1979, with the 19th
taking place in Hanoi from November 18-23. These meetings proposed directions
and measures to further bolster bilateral ties.
The Governments and people of both countries
have consistently worked to build and strengthen their relationship across
politics, economy, trade, investment, national defence- security, law
enforcement, education, culture, sports, tourism, and at global and regional
forums. Their friendship and cooperation have developed over many decades,
becoming a solid foundation that deepens mutual understanding and respect
between their peoples, contributing to the stable and sustainable development
of their bilateral relationship and strategic partnership.
Minister Enkhbayar said the 70th anniversary of
the ties is an important step in fostering bilateral friendship. He also
pledged to continue supporting and promoting mutually beneficial business
activities for both Vietnam and Mongolia to fulfill the commitments by their
leaders.
In mid-May, the provincial Museum organised an exhibition named "Duoi la co Dang Cong san Viet Nam quang vinh” (Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam). This meaningful activity took place in the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the country's major holidays and the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
A delegation from Hoa Binh province led by Colonel Trinh Duc Thiem, Commander of the provincial Military Command, completed a mission to visit and encourage officers and soldiers stationed on Truong Sa and a DK1 platform from May 20 to 26 as part of activities of the Vietnam People’s Navy. The delegation included 12 senior officials from various provincial agencies and units.
Storytelling and painting contests honouring President Ho Chi Minh have been held at the Hoa Binh provincial Youth Activity Centre.
The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held a gathering at the provincial Military Command headquarters on May 20 to commend the armed forces that took part in a military parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
