(HBO) – The Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Board on July 2 held a conference to review mass mobilisation activities of local steering boards to implement the work in the first half of 2019, and put forward main tasks in the second half.

Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Council Tran Dang Ninh addresses the conference.

In the first six months of 2019, the mass mobilisation work of the political system saw positive progress. The provincial Party Committee issued numerous documents to realise the Party Central Committee’s directions related to mass mobilisation in combination with the implementation of tasks in the fields of politics, socio-economic development and defence-security. Party and government leaders at all levels upheld the sense of responsibility, listened to and solved locals’ recommendations and complaints.

Local authorities also combined the implementation of mass mobilisation and political tasks, while stepping up administrative reform and regularly organising dialogues with the public. The implementation of democratic regulations at grassroots went into order, and the attitude of public servants to serve locals was improved.

Addressing the event, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Council Tran Dang Ninh stressed the need to promote the role of members of the provincial Party Committee’s steering boards on mass mobilisation. Specifically, the provincial steering board on democratic regulations should well conduct inspections and supervision over the leaders of offices and units in ensuring democratic regulations at grassroots.

The steering board for the mass mobilisation emulation movement was asked to duplicate outstanding models and examples in all fields, while the steering board on religious affairs was required to popularise the Law on Belief and Religion, and protect the fine culture of belief and religion.
