(HBO) - The Ministry of Public Security’s emulation cluster No. 3, which consists of eight provinces of Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Bac Kan, Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen and Quang Ninh held a conference to review the first six months’ implementation of the ‘For national security’ campaign. Major General Dao Gia Bao, Director of the ministry’s Department of Political - Party Affairs, and Bui Van Cuu, member of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee’s standing board and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the conference.

The ‘For national security’ campaign was initiated by the ministry under the motto of "proactive, exemplary, disciplined, responsible, and effective". In response, provincial police departments of the emulation cluster No. 3 have organised diverse and far-reaching activities, contributing to creating positive changes in ensuring political security and social order. In the first half of this year, they busted several major criminal cases related to drug and economic issues.

Speaking at the conference, Cuu spoke highly of the success of the conference and said he hopes that, through such event, participating police departments would continue to renew the content of and measures to organise their emulation campaigns. As a result, exemplary models will be built and replicated, he added.

The Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee held its monthly conference in virtual form on April 2 to review draft documents to be submitted to the standing board of the provincial Party Committee and others under its management along with some other important issues. Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh chaired the event, which was connected with the people's committees of districts and cities in Hoa Binh.
