(HBO) – The People’s Committee of Hoa Binh province held a regular meeting on February 10 under the chair of Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee by Bui Van Khanh, during which officials affirmed their determination to fulfil socio-economic development targets in 2022.

promulgated under the competence of the provincial People's Committee, and
discussed other issues.

Local departments and sectors, and authorities of Hoa Binh city and districts
have striven to complete tasks assigned by the provincial People's Committee
and its chairman in January, contributing to promoting socio-economic recovery
and development.
The locality collected about 700 billion VND (30.8 million USD) for the State
budget in January, higher than that in the same period last year.
As of January 31, 2022, the disbursement of public investment totaled 3.37
trillion VND, equivalent to 96 percent of the plan assigned by the Prime
Minister.
On January 18, the provincial People’s Committee issued Directive No.
03/CT-UBND on key measures to implement socio-economic development plan and
State budgetcollectionestimates in 2022.
It also directed departments, sector and localities to pay special attention to
taking care of policy beneficiary families and people withmeritorious
service to the revolution during the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.
Speaking at the event, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Ngo Van Tuan
asked departments and sectors, and authorities of Hoa Binh city and the
districts to demonstrate the highest determination in fighting the COVID-19
pandemic in the direction of safe and flexibleadaptation, thus
effectively implementing the dual goalsof COVID-19 prevention and
control, and socio-economic development after the Tet festival.
It is necessary to focus on accelerating disbursement of public investment
since the beginning of the year, especially for key projects; promoting State
budget collection; and improvingthe business
andinvestmentenvironment of the locality, he said.
In his speech, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh
ordered the provincial Department of Planning and Investment to prepare
necessary conditions to start construction of the 8 key projects in the local
investment portfolio, towards creating momentum for the province’s development
and fulfilling its economic growth target set for 2022.
He also stressed the need to seek solutions to overcome weaknesses in land
clearance, and simplify administrative procedures to raise the
efficiencyofinvestmentattraction./.
In mid-May, the provincial Museum organised an exhibition named "Duoi la co Dang Cong san Viet Nam quang vinh” (Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam). This meaningful activity took place in the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the country's major holidays and the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
A delegation from Hoa Binh province led by Colonel Trinh Duc Thiem, Commander of the provincial Military Command, completed a mission to visit and encourage officers and soldiers stationed on Truong Sa and a DK1 platform from May 20 to 26 as part of activities of the Vietnam People’s Navy. The delegation included 12 senior officials from various provincial agencies and units.

To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
