(HBO) – Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly (NA) deputies Ngo Van Tuan, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh; Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Toan; and leaders of departments, agencies on February 17 joined a working session with a delegation of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policy (VBSP) led by its General Director Duong Quyet Thang regarding the allocation of social policy credit in the province.

Social policy credit has reached all
Hoa Binh villages. Outstanding loans had surpassed 3.62 trillion VND (158.63
million USD) as of the end of 2021 while 600,000 poor people and policy
beneficiaries received loans worth more than 10.52 trillion VND.
Credit quality has been improved and
overdue debts made up just 0.13 percent of the total. The efficient
implementation of the social credit policy has assisted hunger eradication and
poverty reduction and strengthened people’s trust in local authorities.
Hoa Binh is working to help all poor
and near-poor households, and policy beneficiaries gain access to services by
the VBSP, and to increase outstanding loans by an average 12-15 percent and
bring overdue debt to under 1 percent.
The trade union of the VBSP presents 500 million VND to build house of
solidarity for poor families in Hoa Binh.
Speaking at the event, Thang pledged to
provide sufficient capital for Hoa Binh while asking the province to review
poor and near-poor families to ensure those who fulfil requirements can access
social credit.
For his part, Tuan informed
orientations and solutions on the implementation of the Resolution of the 27th
provincial Party Congress. He voiced a hope that the VBSP will support Hoa Binh
leaders to effectively manage and carry out the social credit policy.
At the session, the trade union of the
VBSP presented 500 million VND for the building of houses of solidarity for poor
households in the province./.
