(HBO) – The 17th Party Committee of Hoa Binh in the 2020-2025 tenure on March 30 convened the 11th plenary session, during which participants discussed a number of important issues related to the socio-economic development of the province.
The event was co-chaired by
alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial
Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long; Vice Secretary of the provincial Party
Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh; and
Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial
People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh.
Participants at the event gave their ideas on a number of documents, including
the provincial Party Committee’s proposal on the action programme to implement
the Resolution No.29-NQ/TW released at the sixth session of the Party Central
Committee on continuing to strengthen industrialisation and modernisation
towards 2030 with a vision to 2045.
They also examined new documents released by the Party Central Committee
regarding Party building and the implementation of some issues related to
personnel work.
Concluding the event, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and
Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long highlighted
outcomes in leadership activities in the first quarter of this year and major
tasks in the second quarter.
He said that in the time to come, the province will strive to complete the
draft, announcement and the launch of implementation of the provincial master
plan in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050. At the same time, the
province will roll out measures to improve the local business environment and
competitiveness and attract more investment.
The locality will complete dossiers for Mo Muong to seek UNESCO recognition as
a world intangible cultural heritage that needs urgent protection, along with
dossiers for the Trai village’s cave and stone roof relics of Vanh village in
Lac Son district to seek the recognition as national relic sites. It will also
submit a dossier to authorised agencies to apply for the world heritage title
for Hoa Binh Culture. Hoa Binh will also continue to effectively implement the
national target programme on socio-economic development in the mountainous and
ethnic minority-inhabited areas in the province.
On the occasion, the provincial Party Committee presented certificates of merit
to the Party organisations of Lac Thuy and Yen Thuy district for showing
outstanding performance in completing their tasks in 2022./.
In mid-May, the provincial Museum organised an exhibition named "Duoi la co Dang Cong san Viet Nam quang vinh” (Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam). This meaningful activity took place in the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the country's major holidays and the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
A delegation from Hoa Binh province led by Colonel Trinh Duc Thiem, Commander of the provincial Military Command, completed a mission to visit and encourage officers and soldiers stationed on Truong Sa and a DK1 platform from May 20 to 26 as part of activities of the Vietnam People’s Navy. The delegation included 12 senior officials from various provincial agencies and units.
Storytelling and painting contests honouring President Ho Chi Minh have been held at the Hoa Binh provincial Youth Activity Centre.
The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held a gathering at the provincial Military Command headquarters on May 20 to commend the armed forces that took part in a military parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
