(HBO) – In 2018, the People's Council of Hoa Binh province signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation with its counterpart from Tuv province of Mongolia.A recent visit to Hoa Binh by Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and his spouse have contributed to tightening the friendship between the two provinces and nations at large.

Within the framework of the State visit to Vietnam, Khurelsukh and a high-ranking delegation of the Mongolian Government visited the Luong Son Industrial Park in Luong Son district.
Welcoming the Mongolian guests, Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, stressed that cooperation between the two countries as well as between Hoa Binh province and Mongolia's localities is developing fruitfully.
Since 2019, Hoa Binh and Tuv have maintained delegation exchanges with cooperation contents becoming more and more substantive and effective, he continued.
Last November, a delegation from the People's Council of Tuv province led by its Chairman Ts.Jambalsuren visited Hoa Binh, during which Jambalsuren briefed his host on Tuv’s situation and suggested the two sides cooperate in such areas as education, tourism, husbandry, and fruit and vegetable export. Jambalsuren invited Hoa Binh’s officials to visit Mongolia and Tuv at an early date.
In response, a delegation from the Hoa Binh People’s Council led by its Chairman Bui Duc Hinh paid a visit to Tuv in July. During the visit, the two sides compared notes on cooperation contents in accordance with the MoU signed in Hanoi on January 22, 2018.
Jambalsuren expressed his desire to strengthen collaboration between the two countries and two provinces, especially in agriculture, culture and tourism.
Tuv said it will send experts to scope out the market in Hoa Binh. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese province will also study Tuv’s market, towards the establishment of joint ventures and cooperative ties with local firms in mining, and the construction of supermarkets, commercials centres and hotels in the Mongolian locality. They will also cooperate in garment-textile, electronic components and forestry processing, and boost exchanges between citizens.
Hoa Binh aims to export pork, chicken, fish, vegetables, orange, grapefruit, wood and handicrafts to Mongolia.
In mid-May, the provincial Museum organised an exhibition named "Duoi la co Dang Cong san Viet Nam quang vinh” (Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam). This meaningful activity took place in the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the country's major holidays and the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
A delegation from Hoa Binh province led by Colonel Trinh Duc Thiem, Commander of the provincial Military Command, completed a mission to visit and encourage officers and soldiers stationed on Truong Sa and a DK1 platform from May 20 to 26 as part of activities of the Vietnam People’s Navy. The delegation included 12 senior officials from various provincial agencies and units.

He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
