Tan Lac district's Party Organisation has innovated its leadership by assigning members of the Party Committee's Standing Board and members of the Party Committee to be in charge of specific sectors and fields to focus on leading and directing political tasks.

Dinh Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Tan Lac district's Party Committee, said that
the district's Party Organisation has 36 subordinate Party cells and
organisations with 6,447 Party members. The district's Party Committee has
thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented guiding documents of the Party CentralCommittee
and the provincial Party Committee on the Party building work and political
system development, concretising and effectively implementing the Resolutions
of the 17th provincial Party Congress, and 24th district Party Congress for the
2020 – 2025 term.
Tan Lac district's Party Committee has innovated its leadership by assigning
members of the Party Committee's Standing Board and the Party Committee to be
in charge of industries, fields, agencies, units, and localities. The committee
has organised periodic conferences and briefings to discuss solutions, evaluate
results, analyse and clarify existing problems, shortcomings, and causes, and
draw lessons to continue effectively implementing tasks in the district.
In 2023, the party and political system building work in Tan Lac district
witnessed changes. Personnel affairs were carried out fully and synchronously
in all stages from assessment, planning, training, management, and employment
in line with policies on personnel under the management of the district's Party
Committee and plans approved by the Standing Board of the provincial Party
Committee.
The district continued to innovate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency
of inspection, supervision and Party discipline in association with the
implementation of resolutions of the Party congress at all levels.
The district's Party Committee carried out inspections of nine Party members
and four Party organisations and supervisions of six Party members and six
Party organisations. Last year, 93% of Party members and over 90% of Party
organisations in the district were assessed as well performing their tasks.
In 2023, Tan Lac district achieved and exceeded 13 out of 16 targets set in the
district Party Committee's resolution. The district’s total social investment
was over 2.81 trillion VND (115 million USD); its average income per capita
reached 39.5 million VND; and its poverty rate decreased to 9.4%.
The district sped up administrative reform, and closely coordinated with
departments, sectors and units to speed up the implementation of programmes and
projects such as Ngoi Hoa road - National Highway 6, provincial road 440,
provincial road 436. Resources were moblised for developing urban
infrastructure and residential areas and supporting investment projects in
industrial production, handicrafts, tourism and services. The district also
took measures to preserve Muong Bi cultural values associated with building
new-style rural areas, gradually improving the material and spiritual lives of
local people.
In mid-May, the provincial Museum organised an exhibition named "Duoi la co Dang Cong san Viet Nam quang vinh” (Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam). This meaningful activity took place in the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the country's major holidays and the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
A delegation from Hoa Binh province led by Colonel Trinh Duc Thiem, Commander of the provincial Military Command, completed a mission to visit and encourage officers and soldiers stationed on Truong Sa and a DK1 platform from May 20 to 26 as part of activities of the Vietnam People’s Navy. The delegation included 12 senior officials from various provincial agencies and units.
Storytelling and painting contests honouring President Ho Chi Minh have been held at the Hoa Binh provincial Youth Activity Centre.
The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held a gathering at the provincial Military Command headquarters on May 20 to commend the armed forces that took part in a military parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
