(HBO) - The Steering Committee of the movement of "All people unite to build a cultural life” and the Steering Committee for Family Affairs in the province have organized a conference to deploy the tasks in 2020.

Mr. Bui Van Cuu, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Steering Committee of the movement of "All people unite to build a cultural life” and the Steering Committee for the Family Affairs of the province is making a conclusion at the conference.

In 2019, all the branches and the members of the provincial Steering Committee have well performed the leadership and direction of implementing the movement of "All people unite to build a cultural life” integrated with the emulation movements in the own responsible sectors and fields to ensure the effective implementation of the movement. In 2019, 100% of the residential areas organized the Great Solidarity Day and held "The Great Solidarity Meal”. In the whole province, there were 211,871 households registering to build the title of the cultural family, in which 179,922 households were recognized the title of the "Cultural family”, reaching over 83%. 1,264 villages, hamlets and residential areas achieved the title of the cultural residential area, reaching over 85% and there were over 94% of the departments, agencies and businesses registering to build the cultural titles.

The family affairs have received much attention from the Party committees, the local authorities and the participation of all levels, sectors and mass organizations from the province to the grassroots level and the positive response of the community. Activities supporting to build a happy family, to prevent the family violence, to create the gender equality and to take care of children have been effectively implemented. There are 13 models of preventing and controlling the family violence in the whole province. There are 92 independent operating models, 1,092 groups against the family violence, 583 trusted addresses in the community and 1,305 family clubs developing sustainably.

Making the concluding speech at the conference, Mr. Bui Van Cuu, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Steering Committee of the movement of "All people unite to build a cultural life” and the Steering Committee for the Family Affairs of the province has acknowledged the suggestions and recommendations of the delegates and has delivered them to the two standing committees so that they can synthesize and adjust accordingly. At the same time, he has proposed that the Steering Committee for the movement of "All people unite to build a cultural life” and the Steering Committee for Family Affairs should adhere to the main task in 2020 to effectively implement the targets and plans. For the family affairs, there should be solutions to minimize the family violence and social evils affecting the family, building a happy family with sustainability and stability.

The demand for spaces serving community activities of residents in various areas across Hoa Binh city has been satisfied as local cultural houses now feature modern, spacious facilities thanks to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 49/NQ-HDND issued on December 28, 2021 by the city People's Council, which approved the plan for reorganising, converting, and allocating land for the construction, repair, and expansion of cultural houses in Hoa Binh’s villages and residential areas until 2025.

Enhancing cultural and spiritual life in remote and ethnic minority areas

At the end of May, the Hoa Binh Provincial Ethnic Arts Troupe organized a series of performances for residents in Region 2 and Region 3 communes across the province. Bringing art to ethnic communities in remote, isolated, and especially disadvantaged areas has become a meaningful activity.
