(HBO) - In recent years, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life” in, the district has achieved practical results, and it has step by step gone into depth and become a large patriotic emulation movement.

Over the past years, the cultural and artistic movement of Mai Chau district has been developing, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the local people.

As one of the contents of the movement, the movement "Building a cultural family” always plays an important role and attaches to building a cultural community having the economic, cultural and spiritual life that has been developing in a healthy and plentiful manner. Most families in the district always obey the guidelines, the policies and the laws of the Party and the State policies, attaching the criteria and standards to build cultural families with the building of conventions and regulations, and being approved by the local people. 

In the period of 2016-2020, implementing the movement of "Building cultural families”, in the whole district, there were 51,622 turns of households recognized as families meeting the cultural standards, 1,709 turns of the collectives, 7,097 turns of the typical advanced individuals were rewarded by the different level of the committees, the authorities, the departments and the unions from the central to local level. 590 turns of agencies, units and enterprises were recognized to meet the cultural standards, 100 villages, hamlets and groups have mediation teams that are in operation.

In the coming time, the district will continue to promote propaganda, raising the awareness for the Party members, the cadres, the civil servants, public employees and the people about the position, role and importance of the movement in new development stage. The leadership and direction of the Party Committees at all levels and the local authorities towards the movement will be strengthened. It is important to consider this as a central and cross-cutting task. It is determined that building a cultural life is a job of the entire people, a comprehensive and long-term task that must mobilize synergy in the implementation. The performance of the performance teams and the preservation of the good values of national culture must be improved...

In addition, the district continues to improve the quality of activities of the Steering Committee for the movement of the entire people uniting to build a cultural life, promoting propaganda, implementing the civilized life, the office culture, the construction of a healthy cultural environment and the civilized implementation in weddings, mourning, festivals, ensuring the democracy in reviewing the titles and promoting emulation and commendation so that it can make the movement strongly develop.

The demand for spaces serving community activities of residents in various areas across Hoa Binh city has been satisfied as local cultural houses now feature modern, spacious facilities thanks to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 49/NQ-HDND issued on December 28, 2021 by the city People's Council, which approved the plan for reorganising, converting, and allocating land for the construction, repair, and expansion of cultural houses in Hoa Binh’s villages and residential areas until 2025.

Enhancing cultural and spiritual life in remote and ethnic minority areas

At the end of May, the Hoa Binh Provincial Ethnic Arts Troupe organized a series of performances for residents in Region 2 and Region 3 communes across the province.
