In a bid to preserve and introduce Muong culture to a wider audience across the country, in August, artist Vu Duc Hieu officially brought to the capital city pottery works inspired by the Muong ethnic community in Hoa Binh province by creating a rich cultural space at 85 Nhat Chieu street in Tay Ho district.

The movement "All people unite to build cultural life" has become a cornerstone of community development in Lac Son district, aligning with national rural development goals and local patriotic initiatives.

In the 2018 National General Education Program, the local educational content was integrated into the subjects for the lower secondary students and experiential activities for the primary students. Do Nhan Primary and Secondary School, located in Nhan My Commune (Tan Lac), has 100% of its students and 70% of its teachers from Muong ethnic group. Although there are many natural scenic spots and potential for tourism development in the area, they have not yet been effectively exploited. As a result, the school has implemented a model titled "Preserving and promoting Muong ethnic cultural identity through the subjects and experiential activities linked to the local tourism development”.

The People’s Committee of Hoa Binh province has issued Plan No. 185/KH-UBND on the organisation of the Hoa Binh Culture - Tourism Week 2024 from October 24 to November 4.

Holding unique values representing the world-famous Hoa Binh Civilisation, the archaeological sites of Trai Hamlet Cave and Vanh Village Stone Shelter in Lac Son district were recognised as special national relic sites in July.

The preservation and promotion of traditional handicrafts of ethnic minority communities in Hoa Binh province plays a crucial role, as it not only creates jobs and increases income for locals, but also helps preserve ethnic cultural heritage.
