In the afternoon of January 18th, at Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium, Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) played against Hue Football Club (Hue FC) in the 6th round of the National First Division Football Tournament - Bia Sao Vang, 2024-2025 tournament.

The players of Hoa Binh FC and Hue FC were competing fiercely in
the match.
Before the match, Hoa Binh FC ranked 9th on the rankings with 2
points, the team drew 2 matches at home stadium and lost 2 matches away.
Meanwhile, Hue FC ranked 7th, won 1 match, drew 1 match and lost 3 consecutive
matches. Hoa Binh FC was determined to aim for its first victory this year when
playing at home after a 2-month break to make way for the AFF Cup 2024.
Entering the match, both teams played fiercely from the first
minutes. In the 38th minute, player number 29, Tieu Trung Hieu, was the one to
break the deadlock when he put Hoa Binh FC ahead with a score of 1-0.
After conceding a goal, Hue FC players rushed to attack with many
dangerous situations created in front of Hoa Binh FC's goal. However, the home
team's defense did their job well when all of the visitors' attacks were
neutralized. No more goals were scored.
Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial
People's Committee, the Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial Football Federation
congratulated the players and the coaching staff of Hoa Binh FC after the 1-0 victory
over Hue FC.
At the end of the match, Hoa Binh FC beat Hue FC with a score of
1-0. This was also Hoa Binh's first victory in the National First Division in
the 2024-2025 tournament. The coach Le Quoc Vuong's team temporarily rose to
6th place with 5 points. Hue FC dropped to 8th place with 4 points.
After the match, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Permanent Vice Chairman
of the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial
Football Federation and other leaders from several departments, branches and
fans went down to the field to congratulate and celebrate the joy with the
players and the coaching staff of Hoa Binh FC.
A total of 85 young players from across Hoa Binh province recently participated in the provincial Youth Table Tennis Tournament. On February 23, the Hoa Binh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, in collaboration with the General Department of Sports and Physical Training’s karate division and the provincial Karate federation, organised the 2025 national karate dan promotion exam at the provincial sports arena. The exam covered the first (Shodan), second (Nidan), and third (Sandan) dan levels, with no fourth (Yondan) or fifth (Godan) dan tests this year.
