(HBO) - There are over 60% of the local people practicing sports regularly in the whole commune, over 40% of the sports families are the typical examples in the district's sports and training movement.


The Men's Football Team of Lien Vu commune won the gold medal and the champion Cup at the football championship of Lac Son district in 2018.

At present, each village has two men's volleyball teams, a football team and an air volleyball team of the Elderly Association. In addition, the commune has many sports clubs and interest groups that practice their favorite sports. Every year, the commune participates in all sport competitions organized by the district and there are always athletes achieving high rankings in the competitions. At the 11- player football championship of Lac Son district in 2018, the Football Team of Lien Vu outstandingly won the Cup and won two additional prizes of the best player and the goal scorer.

Mr. Bui Van Ban, the Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Lien Vu Commune said: At present, the commune has a cultural house and a central stadium to achieve the new rural criteria. 100% villages, streets have culture houses and sports grounds and 7 stadiums. In particular, Chieng, Ca, Voi villages have spacious stadiums with beautiful yard, wall built around. In the new vilage yard, the trees are planted and there is a grandstand for the audience. In the afternoon, at the gymnasium and stadium of the villages, there are always a lot of people to participate and practice exercises, each person chooses the appropriate sports according to their age. Besides, every year, the commune coordinates with mass organizations to organize from 3 to 5 sports tournaments on the holidays, Tet, anniversary, attracting many athletes to participate. From the movement of mass sports, the commune has discovered and selected typical athletes to participate in the district and provincial championships, including athletes Bui Van Hoang (Chieng village) Bui Van Loc (Voi village), Bui Van Nghiem (Com village), Bui Tien Sinh (Chieng village).
