The
match will take place at Hang Day Stadium on November 24 instead of My Dinh
National Stadium, which is preparing for the opening ceremony of the National
Sports Games on November 25.
However, according to VFF General Secretary Le Hoai Anh, the
federation only sold 14,000 tickets compared to the capacity of 20,000 seats of
Hang Day Stadium in Hanoi.
The reason is the quality of the stadium is downgraded.
Besides, it has large billboards in D Stand so the VFF didn’t sell tickets for
this area.
Tickets are sold for 100,000 VND (4.3 USD), 200,000 VND (8.7
USD) and 300,000 VND (13 USD).
Fans often set off flares at Hang Day Stadium in the national
premier league, so the VFF said security would be enhanced for the match.
In the tournament, Vietnam beat Laos 3-0 in their first match
of Group A at Laos National Stadium in Vientiane on November 8, and then
Malaysia 2-0 in the second match at Hanoi-based My Dinh National Stadium on
November 16.
On November 20, Vietnam drew 0-0 with Myanmar in an away
match of Group A held at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon.
