The Fox Sport Asia website has named Vietnamese midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai as one of the top five players in the fifth qualifier round of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup 2019.

Despite not scoring during the match against Cambodia’s NagaWorld, Hai put on an impressive performance in the 5-1 win of his team. His dominance in midfield allowed Hanoi FC to control the game.

After five matches, Hanoi FC have three wins, one draw and one loss to progress to the knock-out stages of the competition. The Vietnamese club will face Tampines Rovers of Singapore in the next round.

The rest of the top five consists of Jordan's Mantah of Kaya FC-Iloilo FC, Marc Klok of PMS Makassar FC, Bienvenido Maranon of Ceres-Negros FC, and Maung Maung Lwin of Yangon United FC.
