Doan Ket commune has 4,176 people with over 1,000 households. After the merger, the commune has 8 hamlets. The early morning and late afternoon every day, every strata of people gather at the sports fields to exchange and practice. Depending on the interests and passion, each person selects his or her own sports that suit them. Volleyball, football, badminton are popular sports that people love most.
Currently, the whole commune has 22 men's and women's volleyball teams and the volleyball teams of the elderly. Practicing physical training and sports attact a lot of people.
