(HBO) - Referring to the province's high-performance sports, it is impossible not to mention the mountain biking. At the National Youth Mountain Bike Championship and the National Mountain Bike Championship in 2019, there were 13 athletes from Hoa Binh delegation participating. They have won 10 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals in individual and team events. This is considered a fast growing and strong sport with young, talented athletes, competing with many outstanding achievements.

The athlete Bui Van Nhat is competing at the National Youth Mountain Bike Championship and the National Mountain Bike Championship 2019.

Bui Van Nhat, a familiar name among the sports enthusiasts of the province in particular and the country in general. He was born and raised in a difficult commune, Chi Thien (Lac Son), Nhat is only 18 years old now but he has been a champion of bikers at the national level. Practicing and competing bicycles for nearly 3 years, with the perseverance and the relentless efforts, Bui Van Nhat has gradually asserted his expertise as well as has improved his performance by winning 2 individual gold medals, and 3 team gold medals at the National Youth Mountain Bike Championship and the National Terrain Bike Championship 2019.

Bui Van Hieu, a boy born in 2002, in Lac Luong commune (Yen Thuy), is one of the mature athletes from the bicycle class, the Provincial Sports and Physical Training and Competing School for the Gifted. Hieu has left a good impression at the National Youth Mountain Bike Championship and the National Mountain Bike Championship 2019.

Born in 2003 in My Hoa commune (Tan Lac), with nearly 3 years of training and competition, Tran Thi Thanh Van has won 1 individual gold medal, 1 individual bronze medal; 1 teammate gold medal and 1 teammate silver medal at the National Youth Mountain Bike Championship and the National Terrain Bike Championship 2019.

The province has always paid attention to and invested in the movement of mass sports and physical training with high-achievement sports field, focusing on training and practicing. In particular, a lot of talented young athletes have contributed to improving the performance in the tournaments. The generation of the young athletes is very promising, well-trained, promising to bring more glory to sports in the province.
