(HBO) - In 2020, with the attention of all levels and the appropriate authorities and the consensus of the people, our province's sport has achieved strong development. In particular, the High Achievement Sports won a total of 31 medals of all kinds, including 11 gold medals 6 silver medals and 14 bronze medals. The precious medals that the athletes have won are the solid foundation, the motivation for the sportsmen in the whole province to confidently step on the difficult road and challenge ahead.

Dinh Thi Giang Huong – "The Steel Rose” on off-road track

The sports fans of the province are sure to be familiar with the "old-timer” faces who have won the outstanding achievements for off-road cycling such as: Dinh Van Linh, Bui Van Hieu, Bui Van Nhat, Ha. Viet Cuong, Tran Thi Thuy Van, Quach Thi Phuong Thanh ... Dinh Thi Giang Huong is like a new wind because of her youthfulness, dynamism, courage, effort and determination. A good combination of the young female riders Tran Thi Thuy Van, Quach Thi Phuong Thanh, Dinh Thi Giang Huong helped them compete with the highest spirit of determination and they won 2 valuable medals for women's team content at the 29th National Youth and Off-road Bicycle Championship in 2020 to Hoa Binh sports.

Bui Duy Thanh - the "golden boy” of throwing javelin

Born and raised in Lo Son commune (Tan Lac), a young man born in 2005 has been passionate about javelin and he has been participating in the local sports for a long time, as a result, Thanh has a healthy physique, a good physical foundation, and he is quick and flexible ... It is these outstanding advantages that he quickly passed the preliminary round at the facility and the enrollment round of the Gifted School for Sports Training and Competition in the province. In 2018, Thanh officially became a student of Athletics class (pushing-throwing team). The National Young Athletics Championship in 2020 is the first national tournament in which Thanh was able to compete.

With the enthusiasm of the youth, the burning passion for sports and the determination in conquering the peak, Bui Duy Thanh affirms that he will devote his best and bring the best achievements to Hoa Binh athletics.

Bui Thi Phuong – "the hero” of Weightlifting

Bui Thi Phuong – the young factor of Weightlifting was born in 2005 in Quyet Thang commune (Lac Son). She is one of the students of Phu Luong Secondary School participating in the eighth Phu Dong Athletics Championship in 2019. Although the achievements were not as expected, with the superiority in physique and the strength of the legs, the arms, the shoulder, the speed ... Phuong was recognized by the teacher of the Weightlifting class, the Gifted School for Sports Training and Competition, Mr. Duong Van Trong could see the natural sports talents. Phuong officially fell in love with weightlifting since August 2019. The National Youth Weightlifting Championship in 2020 is also the first national tournament in which Phuong has confirmed her ability. Through the competition, Phuong won the gold medal in the competition with 69kg achievement, 59kg female weight class for the age of 15-16.

Dinh Thi Khanh Ly – The promising factor of Boxing

Dinh Thi Khanh Ly was born and raised in Quang Tien commune (Hoa Binh city). Up to now, the young face born in 2006 has had more than 3 years of experience in boxing. The National Young Boxing Championship in 2020 is also the first national tournament in which Ly was able to participate. As a result, she won the gold medal for direct antagonistic content at 48kg weight class for the age of 13-14.

Entering the year of Tan Suu in 2021, together with the joy of welcoming a new spring, the provincial athletes will continue to try ceaselessly to bring the position of Hoa Binh sport higher and higher in the domestic as well as the international arena.
