(HBO) - In the development of Covid-19 pandamics, the province's tourism sector did not meet the target of welcoming 3.2 million visitors as the plan in 2021. However, with efforts to overcome difficulties, tourism has recovering strongly recovering and flexibly adapting to the new situations, realizing the "dual goal” of both developing the social economy and maintaining the achievements of the epidemic prevention and control, promoting the advantages of safe destinations.

In particular, the area of Hoa Binh Lake with a capacity of over 9 billion square meters of water is an area with rich tourism resources and charming river scenery, which has been approved to be planned as the national tourism area by the Prime Minister, is a destination of many investors exploiting the potential of developing eco-tourism, resort, sports, entertainment...

Mr. Bui Xuan Truong, the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism says: Being heavily affected by Covid-19 epidemics, by the end of September, the whole province welcomed 1.2 million turns of visitors, reaching 34.9% of the year plan. In which, there were 42,000 turns of the international visitors, who are mainly living and working in Vietnam; 1,158 million turns of the domestic tourists. The total revenue from tourism reached about 1,050 billion VND, fulfilling 36.2% of the year plan. Immediately after the epidemic in the whole country has been basically controlled, the Government issued Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP temporarily stipulating "safe adaptation, flexibility, and effective control of Covid-19 epidemic”, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued the Document No. 3862/BVHTTDL dated on October 18th, 2021, temporarily guiding the implementation of the Government's Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP in culture, sports and tourism. 

With the strict control of the epidemics, the application of the effective measures for the epidemic prevention and control, on October 18th, 2021, the Provincial People's Committee announced the local level of Covid-19 epidemics. Accordingly, the provincial area belongd to the low level of risk. This is a favorable condition for realizing the goal of restoring the socio-economic activities, especially the tourism ones.

Since the end of September 2021, the province has welcomed tourists. Thetouriss ereas and attractions, and the scenic relics in the area have been under the normal operation, ensuring the conditions for welcoming tourists. In addition to supporting the businesses to overcome the difficulties under the general direction of the Government, the province has encouraged the tourism businesses to implement the announced stimulus packages, developing, deploying and announcing the new tourism stimulus packages, introducing a package of quality travel products and services at a reasonable price with the incentives and commitments of the service providers according to the package tour program or part of the service. They have been actively cooperated and developed the tourism activities between the tourism enterprises of the province and the tourism enterprises throughout the country to attract tourists. On the other hand, they have been implementing a number of cultural, sports and tourism activities to attract visitors, preparing the conditions and plans to organize the events in 2022 in order to gradually recover.

In October 2021, the province implemented a tourism stimulus program in the new situation. Dozens of businesses operating in tourism area such as Hoa Binh Tourism joint Stock Company, Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort, Heritist Park, Serena Resort in Kim Boi, the Complex of high-class service - hotel Sakura - Hoa Dao - Hoa Binh Convention Center, Da Bac Community Tourism joint Stock Company, Vresort, Grand Hotel, Avana Retreat, V'Star... have committed to participate in the program. In the early days of November, the province organized a Famtrip delegation welcoming the Tourism Association, the Travel Association, the travel agencies in Hanoi, the Central and provincial news agency and the press to survey, experience in the area of Hoa Binh lake tourism. These activities are meant to promote tourism with the message "Hoa Binh tourism - a safe, friendly and attractive destination”, introducing the tourism products that meet the needs of Vietnamese people, the foreigners living and working in Vietnam. Accordingly, it is step by step welcoming international tourists in the context that Covid-19 epidemics in the world and in the country is under control.
