That is the topic of the Tourism Promotion Conference in Hoa Binh province in 2023 taking place in the afternoon of November 17th in Mai Chau district. There was the attendance of were Mr. Pham Van Thuy, the Deputy Director of Vietnam National Tourism Administration; Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the leaders from appropriate departments and branches, the People's Committees of the districts and the city and 200 delegates from businesses, tourism and service businesses, and travel companies inside and outside the province.

In 2023, with the attention of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee; the direction and guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam National Tourism Administration; The active efforts of the units, organizations, businesses and communities have proactively deployed many important solutions and tasks to effectively implement the provincial tourism promotion activities. Accordingly, the priority has been given to advertising and promoting tourism investment for National Tourism Area within Hoa Binh Lake; Organizing a tourism stimulation program and deploying the digital transformation content; Introducing and promoting Hoa Binh tourism and images of landscapes, beauty spots, cultural identities of ethnic groups, specialties, and typical tourism products.

Regarding the tourism infrastructure, many important and key projects have been implemented, including the Project for the Provincial Tourism Infrastructure Development; Lac Thuy tourism infrastructure project... The domestic tourist market continues to be exploited. The tourism products are gradually improved. joint and cooperative activities for tourism development in the expanded Northwest provinces and Ho Chi Minh City have been strengthened.

In the first 9 months of the year, the whole province welcomed nearly 3.35 million turns of visitors, increasing 21/9% compared to that of the same period, reaching 95.6% of the year plan, of which over 277 thousand turns of international visitors were welcomed, increasing 205.1 % compared to that of the same period, reaching 61.7% of the year's plan. The otal revenue from tourists reached 3,112 billion VND, reaching nearly 80% of the year's plan. In the whole province, there are 498 tourist accommodation establishments, including 48 hotels, 270 motels, and 180 homestays meeting the standards to serve tourists.

At the conference, the businesses and investors wishing to research and learn about investment in tourism development in the province and the representatives of the leaders from the departments and branches discussed and pointed out the limitations that need to be overcome. There are proposals and plans for the province to further improve competitiveness in attracting investment, production and business locally.

Making conclusion speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the positive analyzes and assessments of the delegates on the investment and business environment in the tourism sector. He emphasized that Hoa Binh has enough conditions to develop agriculture, forestry, green energy, and renewable energy in a sustainable manner associated with the environmental protection. Especially, the national tourism spot within Hoa Binh Lake area will soon become a high-class tourism center in the region, it is of the international stature. The province has also expressed its determination to accompany, join hands, and stand side by side with investors and businesses with specific and clear commitments to improve the quality of the investment and business environment and increase the province's competitiveness.
