(HBO) - On the occasion of the 88th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU), and the celebration of 73 years of the Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day, the VWU’s chapter in Hoa Binh city hosted a get-together for outstanding representatives of the chapter and those from enterprises, business and production units of the chapter in 2018.

merit and gifts to outstanding women.
In the
emulation movement of the city’s women in the period 2016-2018, the all-level
women unions of the city devised many initiatives to effectively implement the
movement. The movement has contributed to promoting potential, creativeness and
strength of local women in many spheres. The movement has also helped calling
on women to follow guidelines, policies of the Party and law of the State; and fulfil
the locality’s socio-economic development tasks.
From the
movement, as many as 30 heads and members of the women unions at all levels were
selected for receiving the insignia "For the development of Vietnamese women”;
three organisations and individuals were honoured by the Vietnam Women’s Union
central committee; 12 organisations and individuals were presented certificates of merits by the provincial Women’s
Union; 75 individuals were rewarded by the Hoa Binh city People’s Committee; and
25 organisations and 12 individuals were
honoured by the Hoa Binh city Women’s Union.
At the
meeting, delegates shared experience in the women work as well as in production
and business activities and economic development.
As many as 20 individuals who made great contributions to women’s movements
were awarded the insignia "For the development of Vietnamese women”, while 60
outstanding individuals in the women work in enterprises and production units
owned by women were also honoured at the event.
The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee has agreed in principle on a proposal by the Standing Board of the Party Committee of Hoa Binh city to gather feedback on the city’s 1:2000 zoning plan, which forms part of its broader urban development strategy.
Hoa Binh province has made notable progress in public administration reform and digital government development, with the satisfaction index among citizens and businesses reaching over 84%, according to recent government evaluations.
Thanks to great efforts by local authorities in recent times, the governance and public administration performance of Mai Chau district has been significantly improved.
