(HBO) – The organising board of the technological creation contest of Hoa Binh province on October 1 held a ceremony to review and present awards to winners of the seventh edition of the contest and the 15th innovation contest for the youth and children. The event drew representatives of provincial departments and sectors, and 112 prize winners.

 

The organising board presents the first prize to the solution on the development of cordyceps farming.

Two years after the launching of the seventh technological creation contest and one year of the 15th innovation contest for the youth and children, the board received many high quality and highly applicable entries.

The seventh technological creation contest drew 21 entries which are solutions in five areas of agro-fisheries, natural resources and environment (seven solutions, accounting for 33.3 percent); mechanic automation, construction, transportation (four solutions); IT, electronics and telecommunications (three solutions); education, training (four solutions); and health care (three solutions).

As many as 12 out of the 21 solutions won awards, including one first, two second, three third and six consolidation prizes.

Outstanding solutions included those to develop cordyceps farming by Biopharm HoaBinh company, which won the first prize; research the process of processing, packaging and preserving fresh sugar canes, which won second prize.

The organising board also chose seven solutions to compete in the national technological creation contest 2019.

Meanwhile, the 15th innovation contest for the youth and children received 85 solutions, 14 higher compared to the previous contest. The contest saw the participation of all the districts and city across the province, competing in all categories of the contest.

Specifically, there were 17 technological solutions in climate change adaption, environmental protection and economic development, 29 related to household equipment and children’s toys, nine in IT, 13 in learning equipment, and 17 in environment.

As the contest wrapped up, 31 solutions were honoured, with three second, six third and 22 consolidation prizes.

On the occasion, the organising board also launched the eight technological creation contest for 2020-2021, and the 16th innovation contest for the youth and children for the 2019-2020 school year./.
