(HBO) – The Hoa Binh Department of Construction on January 10 held a conference to review its performance in 2021 and launch tasks for 2022. Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee attended the event.

In 2021, the construction sector completed all major tasks. By the end of the year, the Construction Department verified and proposed to the provincial People’s Committee on the approval of six projects worth over 1.14 trillion VND (50.2 million USD), and signed contracts on 33 housing projects.
Last year the province’s urbanisation ratio reached 31.6 percent, and the ratio of local residents accessing clean water was 91.22 percent. The targets set for this year are 32 percent and 92 percent, respectively.
Addressing the event, Nguyen Van Cuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee hailed the achievements that the construction sector made in 2021. He asked the sector to focus on a number of tasks in the time to come, including giving guidance on the implementation of legal documents, speeding up administrative reform, bettering planning efficiency and strengthening State management over the real estate market.
He asked the Construction Department to coordinate with the People’s Committees of districts and city to design and verify the expanded urban construction planning, while strengthening supervision over construction activities.
At the conference, eight collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding performance in State management over construction were honoured./.
