In 2023, the centre proactively built programmes and plans to carry out assigned tasks, including consulting the provincial Party Committee and People's Committee on successfully and effectively holding the province’s 2023 Investment Promotion Conference with the participation of more than 500 delegates and 62 business associations of provinces and cities; investment, trade and tourism promotion and economic diplomacy programmes in Thailand and the UK; and conferences to help remove difficulties for businesses and investors.

For trade and tourism promotion, the centre coordinated with departments and sectors to organise activities to guide and support enterprises and cooperatives to participate in trade connectivity conferences and trade fairs inside and outside the province to introduce and promote local specialties and traditional products, support businesses in sales promotion, and assist them in expanding markets, finding partners and developing production and business.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Chuong asked the centre to continue to closely follow the assigned tasks and solutions to well consult the provincial People's Committee on organising promotion activities in some European countries to promote the potential, strengths, and investment opportunities in Hoa Binh province, and attract more investors to implement projects in the fields of high technology, information technology, high quality services, health, education and agriculture.

He requested the centre to step up trade promotion inside and outside the province to support businesses and cooperatives to boost production and business, and expand investment in production development, as well as product consumption markets.

On this occasion, the centre handed over a certificate of merit of the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee to a collective with excellent achievements for two consecutive years, and conferred the provincial-level emulation fighter title to two individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement in the 2021 – 2023 period.
