Impressed by the warm welcome of the villagers, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, PM Phuc expressed his greeting for a peaceful and happy Tet.

He asked the local authorities to pay greater attention to residents, particularly the disadvantaged and policy beneficiary families. He also called on villagers to celebrate the traditional holiday in a safe and environmentally-friendly way.

The PM also presented a TV to the village on the occasion.

Nui village is home to nearly 280 households with a population of more than 1,100 people, most of whom are of the Ede ethnic minority group. The villagers have shown their awareness and responsibility in preserving and promoting their traditional cultural practices, including the UNESCO-recognised space of gong culture and brocade craftsmanship.
