(HBO) - As many as 19 organisations and units have so far donated and registered to support flood victims in the central region through Hoa Binh province’s relief fund with a total amount of over 1.16billion VND as of October 27. Of the total, 113 million VND were transferred to the fund.
A representative from the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and
Social Affairs hands over the donation to the provincial Fatherland Front
Committee.
On October 27
alone, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee received donations totaling 186
million VND from four organisations and enterprises in the province. Of the total, the
provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs donated 65 million VND, the Song Da
Clean WaterInvestmentjoint Stock Company
contributed 100 million VND.
Meanwhile, the province’s
retirement club and Dam Cong Tranh residential area in Hoa Binh city
contributed 11 million VND and 10 million VND, respectively.
Officials from provincial
Fatherland Front Committee sincerely thanked agencies, organisations,
businesses and individuals for their supports for flood-hit victims in the
central region, and committed to use the aid transparently and reasonably.
The provincial Fatherland Front Committee has decided to spend 700 million VND
from the relief fund on urgently supporting central localities to overcome consequences
of recent floods.
Accordingly, the provinces of Thua Thien – Hue, Quang Binh and Quang Tri, received
donations worth 200 million VND each, while 100 million VND in aid were
provided for the rescue team in Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant./.
Hoa Binh province’s Department of Education and Training on April 16 held a conference on the materialisation of the Prime Minister’s directive on the further implementation of the project on the application of population database, e-identification and e-authentication for national digital transformation in the 2022-2025 period with a vision to 2030.
