Ong hamlet, home to 132 households and over 670 residents. Serving as Secretary
of the hamlet Party cell for over eight years, Nieu, along with the Party cell

such as black carp, catfish, and tilapia, his annual earnings after expenses

by six additional families, collectively running over 26 fish cages.
The community now enjoys a better quality of life, thanks to government support
and the shift towards sustainable economic practices, Nieu noted. By the end of
2024, Ong hamlet had reduced its number of impoverished households to 19, with
21 near-poor households.

donating land for infrastructure projects. In 2024, the hamlet Party cell and
local authorities successfully encouraged 46 households to donate over 13,800
sqm of land for the expansion and concrete paving of a 6-metre-wide road
connecting Ong hamlet to the Thung Bang production area. Notably, residents
