Funeral Board, family of former Party General Secretary offer thanks

The Funeral Board and the family of former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Do Muoi expressed thanks following the burial service for the leader in his hometown in Dong My commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi on October 7.

In the thank-you letter, the CPV Central Committee, the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Funeral Board, and the family of former Party General Secretary Do Muoi expressed sincere thanks to:

- Compatriots, comrades;

- Revolutionary veterans;

- Intelligentsia, religious dignitaries;

- Agencies, organisations, localities, units;

- The people’s armed forces;

- The Party organisations, administrations, and people of Hanoi city and Ho Chi Minh City;

- Diplomatic corps, representatives of international organsations, and international friends;

At the burial service for former General Secretary Do Muoi.

For sending condolence messages and wreaths, as well as attending the respect-paying ceremonies, memorial services, and burial ceremony of Do Muoi, former General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee, former Chairman of the Council of Ministers (now Prime Minister) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and former Advisor of the Party Central Committee.

Former Party General Secretary Do Muoi passed away on October 1 at the age of 101.

Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Urawadee Sriphiromya on July 15 led a delegation to pay a working visit to Hoa Binh province. Mai Chau district finds effective way to engage new Party members

Receiving the Party admission decision from the Secretary of the Mai Chau district Party Committee, new Party member Mua Thi Vang, of Pa Co commune, felt so proud and emotional. The district Party Committee held a solemn ceremony to hand over the decisions to Vang and 61 other new Party members on the occasion of the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-2024). Asking for the opinions on the project of the general urban plan in Hoa Binh City by 2045

On July 5th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee organized a conference to ask for the opinions from the former provincial leaders to contribute to the 1/10,000 scale urban master planning project of Hoa Binh City by 2045. Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, the alternate member of the Party Central Committee, and the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference.
