(HBO) – The 260-member Party organisation of Tu Ne commune, Tan Lac district has made all-out efforts in translating the Politburo’s Directive 05-CT/TW on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style into reality and positively impacting people’s awareness and action to give a facelift to the commune.

Bin is the first hamlet of the commune to receive
exemplary residential zone status. Its Party unit was also named among the most
outstanding in implementing Directive No.5 which has actively campaigned local
residents to contribute to new-style rural building. One of the examples for
its success is a communal house built in 2019 at a cost of more than 500
million VND, a majority of which were contributed by local households.
Additionally, Tu Ne’s civil servants, Party
members and people have demonstrated their solidarity and patriotism by
donating over 4.9 billion VND worth of cash, land and services to complete the
advanced new-style rural building last year.
This year, it expects to develop another exemplary
residential zone in Chua hamlet.
So far, the commune has concreted nearly 90
percent of alleys, 75 percent of main roads of the hamlets and 62 percent of
canals. All households have access to electricity while all hamlets have a
communal house, playgrounds and sport venues.
The commune has also joined the concerted efforts
against COVID-19 as it has raised 50 million VND and 2 tonnes of rice from
local civil servants, Party members and people to assist the pandemic fight and
encouraged local residents to strictly observe COVID-19 rules.
The observation of Directive No.5 has also been
viewed as one of criteria for evaluation and classification of Party members
annually. Civil servants at "one-stop shop” units have shown better attitude
and responsibility towards delivering services to citizens. No reports or
complaints were recorded last year.
Bui Van Lon, Secretary of the communal Party
Committee emphasised that the popularisation of the Directive has left major
mark in the commune in recent years. The commune plans to further raising
people’s awareness of the directive and scale up success models in the future.
