(HBO) – The Hoa Binh Newspaper held a grand ceremony on August 25 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its first issue (September 2, 1962 - 2022) and receive the third-class Labour Order.
On behalf of the State President, Nguyen Phi Long,
alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial
Party Committee, presents the third-class Labour Order to the Hoa Binh
Newspaper.
The ceremony was attended by Le Quoc Minh,
member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-chief of the Nhan dan (People)
Newspaper, Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for
Information and Education, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’
Association; Ngo Minh Tuan, Editor-in-chief of the "Xay dung Dang” (Party
building) magazine; Nguyen Tri Thuc, member of the Editorial Board and head of
the specialised issue division of "Tap chi Cong san” (Communist Review); and
officials of some ministries, sectors, and central press agencies.
Ngo Van Tuan, member of the Party Central
Committee, Deputy Auditor General of the State Audit Office of Vietnam, and
head of the National Assembly deputies’ delegation of Hoa Binh province, sent
congratulation flowers to the event.
Local officials present at the ceremony included
Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary
of the provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Standing Vice Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; and
Bui Van Khanh, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
Over the past 69 years, the Hoa Binh Newspaper
has always maintained its principle and goal and managed to surmount every
difficulty and challenge, becoming a multimedia and key press outlet of the
province and also an official and trustworthy news channel of the local cadres
and residents. It has contributed to economic, cultural and social development,
defence - security safeguarding, as well as the protection of the Party’s
ideological foundation, thus helping promote industrialisation and
modernisation in Hoa Binh and Vietnam at large.
In recognition of its achievements over the last
60 years, the Hoa Binh Newspaper has been granted many noble rewards by the
Party and State.
In his remarks, Le Quoc Minh, member of the
Party Central Committee, Editor-in-chief of the Nhan dan (People) Newspaper,
Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and
Education, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, noted that the
Hoa Binh Newspaper has actively contributed to the dissemination of the Party’s
guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, as well as local policies. It has
also joined the common development trend of the modern press to become a
multimedia newspaper.
He expressed his hope that building on its
achievements, the newspaper will exert more efforts to improve its content
quality, grasp modern media technologies, and gradually catch up with central
press agencies and those around the world. It should push ahead with
popularising official and precise information of the Party, the State, and the
province among the public.
Congratulating the Hoa Binh Newspaper on its
attainments, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long said
it should continue to closely follow the province’s political tasks as well as
its own principle, goals, and functions to perform duties.
The newspaper needs to further enhance the
dissemination work so that the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and
laws will be carried out quickly and fruitfully in reality, promote innovation
and information technology application to meet readers’ growing demand, and
increase training to have capable personnel with occupation ethics and
political steadfastness, he added.
On this occasion, the State President granted
the third-class Labour Order to the Hoa Binh Newspaper, which also received a
commemorative flag from the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council,
People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. The Chairman of the
provincial People’s Committee presented certificates of merit to two
collectives and six individuals with outstanding performance./.
The Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee held its monthly conference in virtual form on April 2 to review draft documents to be submitted to the standing board of the provincial Party Committee and others under its management along with some other important issues. Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh chaired the event, which was connected with the people's committees of districts and cities in Hoa Binh.

The 15th meeting of Hoa Binh province’s 17th-tenure Party organisation was held on March 26. Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council Bui Duc Hinh, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh co-chaired the event.
Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, chaired a meeting of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board on March 21 to review the leadership over the implementation of tasks in the first quarter, identify focal tasks and solutions for the second quarter, and discuss some important draft reports.
Over the years, the Party Organisation of Doc Lap commune in Hoa Binh city has shown strong performance in leading the implementation of many measures to boost production, enhancing the living conditions of locals and promoting the locality’s internal strengths as well as potential and advantages.
Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, on February 28 presided over a monthly meeting of the provincial People’s Committee to assess the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in the first quarter of 2024.
