(HBO) - The number of newly-admitted party members in Kim Boi district in 2023 may be modest, but the quality is ensured, said Vu Dinh Kien, deputy head of the organisation board of the Party Committee of Kim Boi district.

With 79 members admitted so far this year, the district has completed approximately 40% of the target assigned by the Party committee.

The percentage of party members admitted in the youth age (under 35 years old) accounted for 66% of the total. All the new members graduated from high school, including 57% having bachelor's degree.

However, Party development is still a focus in certain grassroots Party organisations. Only 14 out of the 65 grassroots Party cells/organisations admitted new members.

Grassroots Party organisations have identified the development of Party members as an important task in the Party building work. Every year, the Party committees develop plans and assign specific targets for each member cells, with priority given to young people. However, this work still faces certain difficulties.

According to Kien, Party cells and organisations have strictly performed evaluation and selection of outstanding individuals and sent them to classes on awareness of the Party.

Those who are admitted to the Party have been trained and tested in the process of working, studying, and in revolutionary action movements of the Youth Union. They have goodethicsandlifestyle and a high sense of self-study, contributing to fulfilling political tasks of localities and agencies, he added./.
