(HBO) – The Party Committee of Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province, has paid attention to the building of Party organisations in private and foreign-invested enterprises.

Last month, the Party cell of Hoa Son Tourist JSC in Hoa Son commune was established, which, its Director Le Xuan Lai said, is expected to encourage the company’s employees to work harder.

Over the past years, the Standing Board of the district Party Committee has actively instructed the implementation of Directive No. 38 dated October 29, 2014 of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee on enhancing leadership over Party building and the establishment of Party organisations in non-state firms.

As a result, Luong Son now counts seven Party organisations in the non-State economic sector with more than 60 Party members, including one established last month, along with 30 trade unions gathering 1,758 members, and three youth unions with 33 members.

Nguyen Thi Kim Cuc, head of the district Party Committee’s Organisation Commission, said Party membership development in the locality has met a range of difficulties.

Among 540 non-State enterprises in the district, up to 93.1% are micro-and small-sized ones, and many of them are operating ineffectively or struggling to stay afloat, she said, adding that the role of some organisations in the businesses have yet to be promoted, and there is a lack of attention to Party membership development.

Given this, the Standing Board of the district Party Committee has stepped up the development of Party organisations and membership, and mass organisations in businesses, firstly focusing on the information work.

The Standing Board has also assigned the Organisation Committee to coordinate with the district’s political centre to set out plans on the organisation of Party training classes, enhance Party membership development, and especially facilitate the establishment of youth unions in companies.
