(HBO) – Hoa Binh province’s Party Committee gave opinions on the provincial materplan for 2021-2030 with a vision towards 2050 and other important matters, at a meeting on October 26.

Secretary of the Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee nad Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh co-chaired the meeting.

The participants shared the view that the masterplan matches national development orientations and visions, the resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress, the national socio-economic development strategy, and the Politburo’s Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW dated February 10, 2022, on socio-economic development orientations and ensuring defence-security in the northern mid-land and mountainous region by 2030 with a vision towards 2045.

They were also briefed on outcomes of the 8th plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee which took place in Hanoi from October 2-8.

In his remarks, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long stressed that the masterplan is expected to create momentum as well as resources to spur local development in a rapid and sustainable fashion.

It plays a crucial role in directing the province’s development space, while serving as a legal foundation for the province to manage, mobilise and allocate resources, attract investments, and optimise potential and advantages to spur socio-economic development in the future, he added.

The official noted that the masterplan should be associated with legal regulations on planning, and construction investment, and create development space for agriculture, industry, tourism and urban areas.
