Over the past times, banks and credit institutions in the locality have met capital demands of the economy, businesses and individuals.
A leader of the SBV – Hoa Binh branch discussed with the delegation about loan programmes related to social housing and those for workers, while proposing the province have preferential policies and mechanisms to attract enterprises to invest in agriculture.
Hong shared with difficulties facing the province, calling on banks and credit institutions to continue supporting Hoa Binh in implementing social welfare activities. She asked the Hoa Binh branch to organise connectivity conferences to help deal with difficulties and barriers related to capital and credit interest rates.
Long expressed his hope that the central bank will consider and have mechanisms and policies on decentralisation and authorisation, and increase the loan limit for level-1 bank branches in order to meet capital demands for the implementation of the province’s major investment projects.
On the occasion, Agribank Vietnam presented 7 billion VND (284,000 USD) to purchase CT scanners for the provincial General Hospital, while the Co-operative Bank of Vietnam granted 500 million VND to support the renovation of Lac Thuy district’s medical station.
