(HBO) - With the advantage of beautiful natural scenery, the cultural ethnic identities of Thai, Muong, Mong, Dao ethnic people, Mai Chau district attracts many programs and projects, enterprises inside and outside the province to invest in local tourism.


Pom Coong hamlet, Mai Chau town (Mai Chau) has good transport infrastructure, meeting the needs of visitors.

Besides Mai Chau Ecolodge – an effective operation project, the district has attracted many projects in the investment process, such as the tourism project of Tu Stream at the border of two communes of Pieng Ve and Bao La. The Mai Chau Hideaway - Lon stream Project in Tan Mai commune has also started in operation. A number of new large hotels with synchronous and modern designs have created a new look for tourism in the district, typically Khoa Thanh hotel, Ngoc Bach hotel, etc. In addition, there is a tourist accommodation system with 22 motels, 117 community-based tourist homestays and 7 attractive tourist attractions, including Lac Hamlet - Chieng Chau commune, Buoc hamlet - Xam Khoe village, Van Hamlet, Pom Coong Hamlet - Mai Chau town, Hich Hamlet- Mai Hich commune, Pa Co Hamlet - Pa Co commune, Hang Kia Hamlet - Hang Kia commune.

With priority solutions and development assistance, Mai Chau district has attracted many investors in the area. The number of visitors, travellers to the district has been increasing over the past years. Over the past 11 months, the district has welcomed more than 330,000 visitors, including 132,500 international visitors, 199,500 domestic visitors, with total revenue of over 107.6 billion VND. At present, 32 projects are being invested and operated in the province with the total registered capital of 1,438 billion VND, 667 billion VND of the capital has been invested in operation. Among them, there are 12 tourism-trade projects. There are also a number of projects which the investors are exploring, surveying, promising investment in tourism in the future. For example, Vingroup is investigating the location of Sam Tang lake in Noong Luong commune to invest in ecotourism project in association with hi-tech agricultural development. FLC Group is seeking with the desire to invest in Sam Tang ecological resort - Noong Luong commune with the area of 312 hectares; T & T Corporation and Hoa Binh International Agricultural Development joint Stock Company have conducted several surveys and researches on investment in agriculture combined with tourism in Bao La and Noong Luong communes.
