(HBO) - On the eve of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party, in an exciting and joyful atmosphere to welcome Tan Suu Lunar New Year in 2021, an important cultural - tourism event of the province took place in the heart of Ha capital with the theme "Hoa Binh - The epic region”. The festival has been fostering the cultural identity of the nation, enriching the pride in the natural landscape and love for land and Hoa Binh homeland.

Having performed in many places, even in foreign countries, but this was the first time the artists of Muong gongs with the people of the provincial Union of National Arts, the Provincial Center for Culture and Cinema had gathered in the space imbued with art, attracting the attention of a large number of people in the capital and tourists from all directions at the same time. On the pedestrian street, all the focus and attention of domestic and foreign tourists flocked to the venue where the event took place with the program of the coordinated small-stage art and the street parade of high- quality art.

The historical flow has produced, handed down, blended the unique identities of the Muong, Kinh, Dao, Thai, Tay, and Mong ethnic groups settled in Hoa Binh, which has together been creating a bold indigenous culture with the traditional features intertwined, interfered, distilled and deposited with the ocean culture. In the hearts of those who love it, this place is beautiful from the epic treasures, the poetic stories, the legends, the patterns on the ethnic girls' dresses to the traditional stilt-houses, the folk games and the hospitality practices. It is beautiful from romance to the thickness of cultural richness, the tradition of patriotism, the love for the nation, the morality, the fidelity, which is in the harmony with the community of ethnic groups. Hoa Binh is also famous for its pure and liberal nature created by the mountains and hills, where there is the majestic Da river with the romantic Hoa Binh lake having hundreds of green islands and primitive forests…making the landscape more charming. There is Mai Chau valley with the fragrant aroma of mountains in in four seasons, there is Muong Bi land and Muong Vang land with the terraced fields changing color according to seasons, there is Muong Thang land full of fragrant flowers and sweet fruits, there is Muong Dong echoing the call of gongs, or there is the land of Tien pagoda (Lac Thuy) with the experiences of spiritual tourism.

Besides, Hoa Binh has unique and attractive tourism products spread by the human values. During the days of the event, along with the colorful art programs of the ethnic groups, the typical art clips introduced the festivals with bold culture to visitors to. They include the Festival of Crop praying of Muong ethnic people, Khai Ha Festival in Muong Bi, Xen Muong festival, the festival of stream fishing, the Festival of De Rice in Muong Ram, a new rice celebration ... Visitors are also fascinated by Vi, Dum, Thuong Dang and Doi singing by artisans of ethnic groups, and the special folk games such as cotton-ball throwing, stick pushing, back and forth swaying, Stilt walking, Pao throwing ... The artisans from 4 Muong areas have a chance to show off visitors their own culinary arts, such as pounding Day cakes of Mong ethnic peopel, making Lam rice and Can wine of Muong ethnic group, the traditional craft brocade weaving of Thai people... The photo exhibition also contributes part to promote Hoa Binh culture and tourism to visitors.

In particular, the most unique tourism product of Hoa Binh is Muong gong art, which once again has been promoted, honored and attracted a large number of tourists on Hoan Kiem walking street with the art parade of Muong gongs of 100 artisans.
