Over the past time, the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee have issued the directives, resolutions, schemes and plans to develop the fields of culture, family, sports and tourism. Following the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs have signed the coordination program No. 548, on August 28, 2018 on "Promoting the activities for culture, sports, tourism and families of the ethnic minorities in the province in the period of 2018 - 2022.” Thereby, it has been contributing to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the ethnic groups. The outstanding artist, Ms. Hong Tam, Muong ethnic group, the Provincial Ethnic Arts Union has had many excellent musical works that have won gold medals at the national professional dance and music festival. She also has had many artistic contributions in performing arts programs serving the political tasks and special events of the province.

Along with the development of culture, the field of the ethnic sports has created many important imprints. Conservation, preservation and development of sports and physical education have been paid attention to be invested in the right direction with many practical activities. Mr. Dinh Thanh Hue, Muong ethnic group, the teacher at Da Bac district’s high school is an outstanding athlete of the province.
