The Kon Tum provincial Culture Tourism Week opened on December 14 in Kon Tum City, featuring many cultural activities of ethnic groups who live in the Central Highlands, such as gong dances, traditional costumes and cuisine.

A gala concert "Sac Tham Po Lang” (Colour of Red Cotton Tree),
featuring the participation of People’s Artist Vy Hoa and Meritorious Artists
Anh Tuyet and Ta Minh Tam, opened the festival.
The event also attracted more than 700 artisans, musicians and
performers from the region, and from provinces in the central and Mekong
Delta regions. Gong dances and folk music performances with traditional music
instruments of different ethnic groups also featured.
A wood sculpture exhibition and workshop is being held at a
communal house where tourists and visitors can interact with the artisans and
learn crafts from them.
An exhibition introducing the Central Highlands’ cultural
heritage took place at the province’s museum.
The festival also included presentations of the region’s
traditional rituals, a cuisine fair, a street art festival and traditional
games.
The festival runs until December 17.

On April 5th, in Hoa Binh city, the Tourism Association of Hoa Binh province and Tourism Association of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province jointly organized a conference to promote cooperation and tourism development.
