(HBO) - In recent years, Hoa Binh tourism has prospered, attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists, and thereby it has been listed in Vietnamese tourism map with different types of strengths such as community tourism, ecotourism, resort tourism, spiritual tourism and so on.

The province's strength is its convenient transportation system, connecting Hanoi capital, the northern delta provinces to the Northwest region. There are many big rivers in the waterway system, especially there is 150 meters through which Da River flows. It is a land endowed with the wonderful landscapes, the poetic mountains, the beautiful and unique cave system, and there are many famous cultural and spiritual spots. Especially, Hoa Binh lake has a charming beauty, which is considered as Ha Long Bay on the mountain, captivating tourists near and far. The unique cultural beauty, the typical cuisine of Muong, Thai, Tay, Mong, Dao ethnic groups have been retained in the area. They are strengths that is not easy to obtain.

In order for the tourism to develop professionally, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the appropriate departments and authorities, and the localities to restructure the tourist markets, the traditional tourism products, and the investment resources. Thanks to that, it has been attracting many tourists from Korea, Japan, Europe and many other provinces and cities in the country to use different types of tourism. The province has developed a number of attractive tourist types, such as golf, paragliding, kayaking, cycling, tourism combining with experience farms. They have also built a number of new community tourism spots in Chien, Buoi Cai, Ngoi helmets in Tan Lac district ...

Currently, there are dozens of eco-tourism and community tourism areas invested in scale, and invested in the direction of promoting advantages from nature, attracting tourists, many of which have become famous tourism destinations in the country and overseas. They include Lac, Pom Coong and Van (Mai Chau) villages, Giang Mo village, Dau Rong mountain cave - Bong Lai temple (Cao Phong), Mineral springs (Kim Boi), Bo Temple on the lake bed of Da river, Tien pagoda (Lac Thuy) ...

Currently, in the province there are 71 investment projects with a total registered investment capital of about 20,031 billion VND in the field of tourism, accounting for 12.07% of the total number of projects in the area.

There are 434 assessed accommodation establishments, of which, six are rated to recognize three-star hotels, 25 are rated to recognize two-star hotels, 8 are rated to recognize one-star hotels. There are 238 motels, 157 community homestays with over 4,000 rooms. There are 9 local tourism attractions, one tourism area ranked at the provincial level. There 12 units for road tourist transport. There are 13 units of travel business. The tourism activities have created jobs for over 14,000 workers, with over 4,000 direct workers.

After 3 years of implementing the Action Program of the Provincial Party Committee to implement the Resolution of the Politburo on making tourism become a key economic sector has increased the number of tourists and the total revenue from tourism on average. In 2019, the province welcomed 3,111,275 turns of visitors, increasing 15.4% compared to that of 2018, of which the turns of the international visitors increased to 406,384 ones, and that of the domestic visitors was 2,704,891. The total revenue reached about 2,075 billion VND, increasing 36.4% compared to that of 2018. In the first 6 months of this year, the complicated developments of Covid-19 had a great impact on the tourism industry. Accordingly, the province welcomed nearly 900 thousand turns of visitors (the turns of the international visitors were nearly 130 thousand, the those of the domestic tourists were 770 thousand). The total revenue from tourism reached about 684 billion VND. The development of tourism has contributed to economic restructuring, creating jobs, increasing budget revenues and improving the lives of the local people.
