(HBO) - The tourism activities of the province are recovering after a long period of the negative impacts from Covid-19 pandemic. Significantly, from the third quarter of 2020, the number of tourists visiting and traveling to Mai Chau and Kim Boi destinations is bustling again. The tourism area within Hoa Binh lake, one of the key tourism ones, has also received good signals about the market. The programs and activities to stimulate tourism demand have been implemented by the province to promote the propaganda and attract domestic and foreign tourists to Hoa Binh.

Recently, many tourism resorts in the province have actively launched stimulus programs to overcome difficulties. For example, at Serena Resort Kim Boi, Sao Bay commune (Kim Boi), there is a preferential program applied from November 1st to December 31st with a 2-day and 1-night resort combo for only 950,000 VND / person; a combo of enjoying a peaceful day with only 390,000 VND / person. For the 2-day and 1-night combo, visitors have a vacation with the attractive utility series from natural mineral water abundant in minerals, which is good for health; 1 night staying in a luxury room, having breakfast and main meal at Non restaurant, hot tub at Serena Spa, free tea, coffee, mineral water at the room and the unlimited use of swimming pool facilities for four seasons, gym, children's entertainment area. For a day out combo, visitors are free to explore the outdoor activities, enjoying a lunch with bold flavors of the Northwest, which is prepared by the professional chefs, having a play space for children and an active day with swimming pools, indoor and outdoor entertainment areas.

The community tourism villages in the highland areas of Da Bac starts to welcome visitors, mainly domestic ones. Domestic tourism is also one of the popular post-Covid-19 trends.

In the middle of last October, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized an event to launch the second domestic tourism stimulus program with the theme "Safe and attractive tourism in Hoa Binh”. The program attracted 30 tour operators in Hanoi. Along with this event, the province has promoted the propaganda and associated businesses to create differentiated tourism products with preferential prices, with the motto of commitment to discount but not to reduce quality. In the middle of November, the province continued to participate in a major program in Phu Tho province, a conference on cooperation in tourism development between Ho Chi Minh City and the 8 Northwestern provinces, with the aim of helping to restore the Domestic tourists during Covid-19 epidemic. At this conference, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and 8 Northwestern provinces, including our province, have signed an agreement on association, cooperation and tourism development for the period of 2021-2025 and a plan to deploy joint activities, tourism development cooperation.

According to Ms. Bui Thi Niem, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the solutions from the province and the initiative awareness from the travel businesses and the tourism accommodation establishments have actively been contributing to revitalize the tourism industry in recent time. The total number of visitors and tourists in 2020 is estimated at 1,980,000 turns, of which there are 325,000 turns of international visitors, 1,655,000 turns of domestic tourists, and the total revenue from tourism is about 1,475 billion dongs.

In order for tourists to feel secure to participate in tourism programs and the destinations, the province have asked tour operators and accommodation establishments to strictly comply with the instructions on ensuring safety, preventing and fighting against Covid-19. They have also asked to proactively build a service supply chain, form new products with attractive quality and prices, and develop the policies of flexible refund, cancellation and exchange, ensuring the interests of tourists. At the same time, they have paid great attention to tourism products in line with the post-Covid-19 trend such as: sightseeing tourism, ecotourism, short stay, health care, golf tourism ...
