(HBO) - On October 14th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening of a training course on English and communication skills on rural tourism services OCOP in 2021 in in Mai Chau district. There were 35 learners who are the households doing community tourism of Lac village - Chieng Chau commune, Hang Kia - Hang Kia commune attending the course.

The lecturers are exchanging and
guiding homestay owners to communicate in English.
In the past time, with the efforts
of the whole political system, Hoa Binh province is a green area, a safe
tourism destination. Currently, the development of Covid-19 epidemics in Hanoi
capital has been basically controlled. The conditions in the tourism spots in
the province are being prepared to reopen one day, focusing on attracting
domestic tourists.
Lasting from October 14thto 25th, including 11 days of the classroom study and 1 day of field
trips, the learners were taught how to acquire topics on psychology and
communication skills, the basic concepts of communication skills in tourism.
The theme on the English tourism includes 6 topics: welcoming guests to the
home accommodation/ restaurant, introducing the services and the
infrastructure/ the services at the homestay, food and drink, handling the
needs of tourists, directing sales, taking orders and recommending traditional
dishes and paying bills.
The training program helps improve
the communication skills and equip the basic English knowledge to apply in
welcoming international guests.
