(HBO) – The Regiment 814 of the Military Command of Hoa Binh province on September 20 inaugurated and handed over a "house of gratitude” to the family of Captain Thai Hoang Dung in Trung Muong 1 hamlet of Yen Quang commune (Ky Son district). Captain Dung currently serves in the regiment and also is the son of war invalid Thai Van Phan who fought in the war against the US.

The house was built on an area of 80 square metres at a cost of 202 million VND (8,885 USD). Of the sum, 70 million VND was donated by officers and soldiers of Regiment 814 and the rest came from his family and relatives.

During the construction process, soldiers of Regiment 814, the local militia and people in Yen Quang commune contributed a total of 150 workdays.

 

Representatives from the provincial Military Command, Regiment 814, and the local Party Committee and administration handed over the house of gratitude to Captain Thai Hoang Dung’s family.

The house was completed after nearly three months of construction, meeting all requirements on time and quality./.
