(HBO) – Ngo Van Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, attended the event releasing the 2020 Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) rankings on April 15.

With 62.8 points in total, Hoa Binh province
ranked 44th among the 63 provincial-level localities nationwide, up four places
from the 48th position in 2019. It stood at the 7th place among the 14 northern
mountainous provinces.
This result recognised the province’s efforts to
create an open, transparent, equal, and friendly investment and business
environment.
The improvement in the 2020 PCI rankings will be
an important prerequisite for Hoa Binh to realise the related target and task
set in the resolution of the 17th provincial Party Congress: raising the
province’s PCI position by at least three places each year in the 2021 – 2025
