(HBO) – To date, all localities of Hoa Binh has basically completed the recruitment and receipt of new military soldiers in 2023 with high efficiency thanks to drastic directions from the provincial Military High Command.


Mai Chau district gives medical check-ups to citizens as part of military recruitment activities in 2023.

On October 28, 2022, the provincial People’s Committee issued a document on the speeding up of medical check-ups for military recruitment in 2023, asking relevant agencies to work more closely together in giving check-ups to citizens and strengthening communications.

According to Colonel Vu Thanh Nam, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the provincial Military High Command, the recruitment of soldiers has been implemented with the close coordination of the Military High Command of the province and localities, ensuring the high quality of newly-recruited soldiers. Many localities have shown strong performance in the work, including Cao Phong and Yen Thuy districts, he said.

Colonel Nam said that this year, Hoa Binh is tasked to recruit 1,500 new soldiers. To date, the province has given medical screening to 5,758 citizens.

In a document issued on December 8, 2022, the provincial People’s Committee asked leaders of departments and sectors as well as the People’s Committees of districts and Hoa Binh city to prepare for a ceremony to hand over and receive newly-recruited soldiers that is slated for February 6, 2023 or the 16th day of the first lunar month./.
