(HBO) – Officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Cao Phong district in Hoa Binh province have so far implemented many important tasks concretised by practical activities, especially in political training and education.


 Soldiers of the district’s mobile militia platoon at a provincial-level sports festival. 

Units under the local armed forces have strictly maintained the mode of combat readiness for any possible situations; and closely coordinated to manage the area and keep smooth communications around the clock. 

The district’s Military Command has advised the local defence-security education council to organise training courses to boost knowledge on the matter. Cao Phong has also offered defence-security education for nearly 1,200 high school students in the 2022 - 2023 academic year. 

In recent years, the recruitment of citizens for the army has been effectively conducted by the Party Committee and Military Command. In 2022, the district saw more than 100 young men enlisting in the army. 

The Party Committee and Military Command have also completed the political education plan for 2022, with materials and logistics for regular and unexpected defence tasks guaranteed as well as weapons and technical equipment preserved, arranged and managed in accordance with regulations. 

Regarding key tasks in 2023, Commander-in-Chief of the High Command Lieutenant Colonel Bui Khanh Tiep highlighted the need to further follow directions, monitor the area to promptly tackle arising issues, and boost personnel training, among others./.
