The households in Doc Lap commune (Hoa Binh city) has converted to plant trees for seeds of high quality to increase income and reduce poverty sustainably.

The city has also been focusing on implementing the projects and sub-projects of the National Target Program for sustainable poverty reduction integrated with the National Target Program on building new rural areas; the socio-economic development in the areas of the ethnic minorities. At the same time, they have been coordinating in training, vocational training and job creation for employees, especially those affected by Covid-19 pandemics. During the year, Hoa Binh City has provided vocational training for 2,896 employees, created new jobs for 4,550 employees, reaching 103% of the plan. They have been carrying out the review of the poor and near-poor households in 2022, and it is estimated that the poverty rate in the area decreases by 488 households with the rate of 1.38%; the near-poor households decreased by 471 households with the rate of 1.33%.
