Every March, the spirit of volunteerism, dedication, and youthful enthusiasm surges across Vietnam. In Hoa Binh province, young people are actively taking on challenging tasks, contributing to meaningful projects, and upholding President Ho Chi Minh’s call: "where there is a need, there is youth; where there are difficulties, youth will be present."

The Hoa Binh provincial chapters of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation organise a tree-planting event in Dung Phong commune, Cao Phong district.

As part of this year's Youth Month, themed "Hoa Binh youth proudly and confidently follow the Party," the provincial Youth Union has launched a series of impactful projects to mark the upcoming 18th provincial Party Congress (2025-2030). These initiatives include building learning corners for children, youth bookcases, mural streets, rural lighting systems, community playgrounds, and charity houses; digitalising historical sites, with a combined value exceeding 2.1 billion VND (81,967 USD).

Nguyen Duy Tu, Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, noted that alongside traditional activities, the 2025 Youth Month campaign introduces new initiatives to align with Vietnam's socio-economic development priorities. They include projects supporting the national movement to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses, as well as efforts to advance science, technology, and digital transformation, all with a focus on enhancing public awareness of the "Digital Literacy for All" movement.

To ensure the campaign's success, local youth organisations are leveraging creativity and innovation to tailor activities to their communities. Resources are being mobilised to support new-style rural development, urban enhancement, environmental protection, and social welfare programmes. Significant efforts are being made to expand high-tech applications and digital solutions within youth initiatives. Notably, the campaign emphasises community engagement, encouraging social organisations and businesses to join the mission of eliminating unsafe housing in the province.

During the provincial launch ceremony for Youth Month 2025, the Hoa Binh provincial Youth Union presented 20 gifts to disadvantaged families, along with 30 scholarships and gifts for underprivileged children in Phu Thanh commune. Additionally, the union donated 10,000 acacia saplings and 300 black star trees to support the "Youth Tree Road" and "Youth Garden" models in Lac Thuy district. Other projects were also delivered, including four "Happy Homes" in Yen Thuy and Mai Chau districts, three "Houses of Compassion" in Da Bac and Lac Son districts, a computer room for students in Mai Chau, and the construction of a rural bridge in Da Bac.

Following the province-wide launch, youth organizations across districts and Hoa Binh city kicked off various initiatives, creating an energetic and inspiring atmosphere throughout the province.

Over the past 21 years, Hoa Binh’s Youth Month has evolved into a vibrant movement, with diverse and innovative activities attracting the participation of millions of young people. This annual campaign continues to strengthen youth engagement, promote social responsibility, and deliver lasting positive impacts to communities.
